On November 07, 2024, the Board of Directors of ASQ elected Rong Pan, a Fellow of the Society.

His citation reads:
“For outstanding contributions to the fields of reliability data analysis and reliability test planning; for excellent efforts in quality and reliability engineering education; and for continuing activities and leadership in related fields of industrial statistics and data science.”

The grade of ASQ Fellow is an earned distinction, based upon an individual’s
established record of contributions to the quality profession and the Society. This
achievement is a symbol of respect from your colleagues and accepted by the highest officers at ASQ.

He will be receiving the Fellow certificate before the 2025 World Conference on Quality and Improvement in Denver, Colorado. The Fellow pin will be awarded to him during the conference.

We all know Rong as Division Chair, providing conference support, papers and book contributor, course instructor and his constant support of the ASQ Reliability and Risk Division.

Congratulations and keep up the good support!
