Tell us about your education background.
I hold holds Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals. Also, I hold Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University in Fullerton.

Tell us about your professional background.
Maintenance & Reliability Engineer since July 2006 to present. I hold several international certifications in Maintenance & Reliability fields such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Vibration Analyst CAT III, Machinery Lubricant Analyst (MLA) and last but least certificate in Assets Management from the Institute of Assets Management. I have presented and contributed to serval relevant regional technical gatherings and conferences such as Middle East Maintenance Conference (Maintcon 2010, 2012 & 2016) in Bahrain either as a speaker or as member of the event technical committee.  I have participated in conducting several reliability studies throughout my career such as FMEA and criticality assessments as well as many other reliability improvement assessments.

How have you given back to the reliability profession?
I’m voluntarily serving as ASQRD Regional Councilor for my region. Also, I had contributed with arranging reliability technical gatherings. I’m member as well for reviewing CRL body of Knowledge.

What do you enjoy most about reliability?
Keeping the uptime, saving dollars, and run the facility with no unexpected stressful failures

What do you do for fun and relaxation?
Running, kayaking when available & watching TV

What is reliability in your own words?
Reliability in my view is accurately analyzing the right data at the right time in order to preserve the quality & uptime and to minimize unneeded losses.
