I am undergraduate engineer from Technological Institute of Monterrey, Mexico, hold a Master in Sciences from Arizona State University, MBA and PhD in Engineering Philosophy
Tell us about your professional background.
Have worked in variety of engineering and Quality leadership roles including Reliability and Product Assurance Manager for Honeywell; Materials Engineering and Global Product Quality Assurance for Honeywell, Medtronic, Broadcom, 3Com, HP and Baker Hughes. In addition, facilitation of graduate and undergraduate education complements my journey in the 10 years.
How have you given back to the reliability profession?
Providing overview on reliability to K-12 students, helping other professionals understand and appreciate the various fields and possible applications of Reliability; tailoring reliability educational content.
What do you enjoy most about reliability?
The opportunity to apply engineering and variety of analytical tools to help address real world situations; the proven potential of building more robust products, services and/or solutions. The fact that reliability information enables decision making across functions including finance.
What do you do for fun and relaxation?
I like to spend time with friends and family, read, study, cook, travel and bike
